UKPDS Followups: Metformin's Effects over 20 year Period

Page Changed: The Truth About Oral Diabetic Drugs.

Added data from the 20-year follow up to the UKPDS showing that in a group of patients who at one time had attempted to achieve a 7% A1c (eating a very high carb diet) but over time failed to maintain even that low a blood sugar, those using Metformin had less complications and one third less heart attacks.
