Antidepressants Cause Obesity and May Cause Type 2 Diabetes

Pointer to research linking antidepressant use with development of Type 2 diabetes and a Mayo Clinic article stating "weight gain is a reported side effect of nearly all antidepressant medications currently available."

Am I the only one who has wondered why no one has flagged the huge increase in the use of prescription antidepressant--with their known effect on weight gain--with the emergence of the so-called "Diabetes Epidemic?"
